Cheryl Erwin, J.D. Ph.D


Cheryl Erwin, JD PhD is a scholar and teacher in Medical Humanities, Bioethics and Health Care Law, as well as a board-certified coach.  She has served in a variety of academic and consulting roles as a bioethicist and health law expert, including health care crisis policy development, research ethics and directing Medical Humanities programs for physicians. A trained mediator, she has a special interest in conflict management and communication coaching that seeks to balance multiple perspectives to find common goals and solutions to the normal conflicts of human life and medical practice. 

In her coaching work, Dr. Erwin employs both empirical and humanistic tools to cultivating professional identity formation, self-care, ethical awareness, and conflict-communication skills.  She is trained in administration of the TAIS assessment, which can be highly beneficial to understanding strengths and preferences in cognitive and attentional styles.

  • $200/30 minutes or $325/60 minutes –  Individual Coaching or Bioethics-Moral Distress Consultation

    $1800/package –  Targeted Leadership Coaching with Assessments, includes 90 minute initial session, TAIS assessment and report of findings, and a concluding 90 minute coaching session to focus on application. 

    $360/hour  – Organizational Coaching Services, including Executive, Leadership, and Professionalism/Advocacy-Track
    $200 – Administrative Consultation, up to 30 minutes of focus on needs-assessment or triage for organizations
